SkipSeen — Skip Watched Videos on YouTube EN

Does YouTube keep autoplaying videos you've already watched? SkipSeen automatically skips them, so every autoplay lands on something new instead of a rerun. It can also skip the livestreams and multi-hour videos autoplay drops on you overnight. No setup: install it and keep watching.

Works from day one
SkipSeen reads the red progress bars YouTube already shows on thumbnails, so videos you watched before installing count straight away. You don't have to build up a history first.

* Automatic skipping — rewatched videos are skipped the moment autoplay starts them.
* Skip notice with Undo — every skip shows a quick notice saying why, and one click brings the video back.
* Skip livestreams — autoplay won't drop you into a random live stream (on by default).
* Length limit — optionally skip autoplay videos longer than a limit you set, from 15 minutes to 4 hours.
* Clean up your feeds — optionally dim or hide watched videos on Home, Subscriptions and search.
* Resume where you left off — long videos pick up where you stopped, even with YouTube history off.
* Keep playing when you're away — optional, answers "Video paused. Continue watching?" for you.
* Your rules — choose how much of a video counts as watched (30% by default).
* Playlist aware — playlists you started on purpose are left alone unless you turn skipping on.
* Channel exceptions — never skip the channels you love to rewatch.
* Never stuck — after five skips in a row, SkipSeen stops and lets the next video play.
* Skip log and stats — see exactly what was skipped and why, and how many videos you've watched.
* One-click on/off and clear history, right from the toolbar popup.

Videos you click on yourself always play. SkipSeen only steps in when autoplay picks the next video.

Privacy
SkipSeen works entirely on your own device. Your watch history and saved places are stored locally in your browser and are never sent anywhere. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no external servers.

Permissions
* storage — to remember which videos you've watched, your place in long videos and your settings, on your device only.
* youtube.com access — so the extension can detect the current video and skip when needed.
