🐾 SessionPaw shows every browser window and its tabs as one tree, docked beside your browser. Name each window for the job it's doing. Save the whole desk and come back later.

It's built for people who work in many windows: one for a paper, one for a pull request, one for a trip.

ONE TREE FOR EVERY WINDOW

• Side View is a small window docked to the left or right of your screen. It lists every window and its tabs.
• Tabs nest under the page that opened them, so you can follow how you got somewhere.
• Indent tabs by hand when you want a different structure.
• Recent Tabs at the top: the last tabs you used, in any window, one click away.
• Search across all windows at once.
• Select several tabs to move them to a new window or close them together.
• Drag one window onto another to merge them. Changed your mind? Undo.
• Prefer something smaller? Use Firefox's sidebar or the toolbar popup.

NAME THE DESK, NOT THE TAB

• Click a window's title to name it: "Thesis", "PR #482", "Trip".
• Give each window a color, light or strong.
• Names are saved with your sessions and come back when you restore.

SAVE THE WHOLE DESK

• Save all open windows as a session in one click.
• Auto Saved keeps rolling snapshots in the background. After a crash, drag one into your saves.
• Tag sessions, star favorites, archive the rest. Browse mode to find, Manage mode to tidy.
• Merge sessions and drop the duplicates, with undo.
• Skip what you don't want saved: private windows, browser pages, local files, or any site or keyword.
• Cloud sessions are stored as bookmark folders, so they sync through your browser's own sync.
• Restoring a big session? Hold tabs unloaded, load them a few at a time, or load everything at once.
• Export all local sessions to a JSON file.

REST WHAT YOU'RE NOT USING

• Hibernate tabs you aren't reading, so they stop using memory.
• Minimize windows you aren't looking at.
• Pinned tabs, tabs playing sound and browser pages are skipped.

SEE HOW YOUR WORK FITS

Concept Mode (the wand in Side View) is a mind map for your work. Drag a window, a bookmark folder or a saved session onto the canvas, add your own ideas, and draw how they connect. The list stays exactly what's open; the map is how you think about it. Removing a card from the map never closes the real window. Undo and redo are there when you need them.

SessionPaw is built for Manifest V3, works in Firefox and Chromium browsers, and gets regular updates. Your open windows show up right away; name them, save them, and you're set.

PRIVACY AND FIREFOX PERMISSIONS

Your tabs, window names and sessions stay in your browser. There's no SessionPaw server, and you don't need an account. Cloud sessions are ordinary bookmark folders. SessionPaw doesn't ask to read data on every website. AI only runs when you turn it on, and private or intranet pages are never sent. If you buy a paid plan, the payment provider handles checkout and only sees your email.

Firefox asks before any data leaves your computer, and SessionPaw keeps all of it off until you say yes. The welcome page and Help explain every permission and every kind of data: what it is for, where it goes, and what happens if you say no. "Shared with the extension developer" is Firefox's fixed wording; nothing is sent to the SessionPaw developer.

Website icons for saved sessions and bookmarks come from Google's icon service, so they need your OK. Until then they show a globe, and Side View shows a one-click "Allow icons" note.
