Unofficial companion extension for Linkwarden

Browse, search, and save bookmarks to your self-hosted or Linkwarden Cloud instance directly from Firefox, Firefox for Android, and any Firefox-based browser.

This is an independent extension inspired by Linkwarden's official browser extension, with additional features for improved browsing and organization.

- 📁 Collapsible collection tree — Browse your bookmarks organized by collection, with sub-collections nested
- 📌 Pin collections — Pin your most-used root collections to the top of the tree, reorder them anytime
- 🕓 Recently saved — Optional shortcut section showing your last few saved bookmarks (toggle and count configurable)
- 📂 Create collections — Add new collections or sub-collections directly from the popup
- 🔍 Live search — Filter across name, URL, description, and tags, with instant match highlights
- 🏷 Tag chips — Shown on each link; click one to filter the list, or search by tag name directly
- ✏ Edit bookmarks — Rename, retag, re-describe, or move a saved link to another collection, right from the popup
- 🗑 Delete bookmarks — Remove a saved link with a two-step confirm, right from the popup
- 🎨 Collection icons — Optionally displays the Phosphor icons you assigned to collections in Linkwarden (opt-in in Settings)
- ⚡ Local cache — Opens instantly from cache, refreshes silently in the background
- 🔄 Manual refresh — Force a live re-fetch when needed
- 🌐 Favicons — Displays website icons via DuckDuckGo
- 💾 Save current page — One-click bookmark saving

- 🔔 Already-saved badge — The toolbar icon shows a green ✓ when the current page is already saved in Linkwarden
- ⚠ Duplicate warning — The save form alerts you before creating a duplicate bookmark
- ⚙ Easy configuration — Simple settings page with connection test, API token or username/password login, and a one-click Log Out
