简介
Gulf of Mexico Reverter automatically changes all instances of "Gulf of America" back to "Gulf of Mexico" on web pages you visit, preserving the historical and internationally recognized name of this vital body of water.
Why Use It:
Preserve Historical Accuracy:
The Gulf of Mexico has been known by its current name since it first appeared on a world map in 1550, reflecting its geographical and cultural significance.
Show Support for International Consensus: This extension is a symbolic gesture against unilateral name changes that may strain international relations.
How It Works:
Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.
The extension automatically scans web pages for instances of "Gulf of America."
It replaces these instances with "Gulf of Mexico," ensuring that you see the name as it has been historically recognized.
