A feature-rich mini player for YouTube Music, right in your browser toolbar or in its own pop-out window. Search for songs, control playback, browse your queue and playlists, jump back into songs from history, read lyrics, and navigate your music without ever switching tabs.

Volume shortcuts briefly show the new level on the toolbar icon (pin the extension to your toolbar to see it). All shortcuts are customizable at about:addons → Manage Extension Shortcuts.

1. Open YouTube Music (music.youtube.com) in any tab
2. Play any song — or use the search bar in the popup to start something new
3. Click the extension icon in your toolbar, use a keyboard shortcut, or pop the player out into its own window

Requires an active YouTube Music tab to function. For features like liking songs and searching your personal library, log in to your YouTube Music account.

This extension does not collect, store, or transmit any user data to third parties. Search, playlist, and queue operations use YouTube Music's own APIs via your existing session — the same endpoints the YouTube Music app itself uses. Settings and play history are saved locally in your browser. No tracking, no analytics, no ads.
