Wiktionary Search is a lightweight and easy-to-use extension that lets you quickly search for the meaning of any selected word or phrase on Wiktionary, the free online dictionary. With just a few clicks, you can find out the definition, etymology, pronunciation, and other details of any word you come across while browsing the web.
Simply select the text you want to search for, right-click, and choose the "Search Wiktionary" option from the context menu. The extension will open a new tab with the Wiktionary search results for the selected text, while also removing any leading or trailing spaces.
The extension respects your privacy by requesting no additional permissions beyond what is necessary for its operation.
