🔒 YOUR DATA: WHAT IS COLLECTED, AND WHERE IT GOES
To count tokens, UsageMeter reads the open conversation in your browser. That text is counted on your device, then discarded: it is never stored and never sent to our servers. Your Claude session cookie stays on your device. Without an account, only technical data reaches us: a random install ID, the version number, your IP address as with any web request, and anonymous counters. If you sign in, your usage figures, token counts, reset times, Claude account labels (email, name, plan) and settings sync to our servers in the EU, so the web dashboard, the desktop app and your other devices stay in step.
