Instead of manually copying and pasting URLs from Steam Community, Steam Store, Steam Help, or Steam.com into the Steam app, URL to Steam enables you to open them directly with a single click. The extension works seamlessly in the background so that your browser navigates normally while optionally launching the Steam app to display the same page.

🔥 Auto-Redirect Steam Links
When you open a new tab or click on a link that points to an approved Steam domain (including steamcommunity.com, store.steampowered.com, steam.com, and help.steampowered.com), URL to Steam can automatically trigger the Steam app in the background. This ensures you don’t have to manually open Steam and navigate to the page yourself.
🎮 Manual Steam Opening from the Extension Popup
From the extension popup, you can click a dedicated button labeled “Open this webpage with Steam (steam only)” to manually launch the Steam app with the current page—this option is enabled only for valid Steam URLs, preventing accidental use.
