Tabbi keeps your browser organized and clutter-free. It sorts your tabs into named, color-coded groups based on your URL rules, and automatically collapses inactive groups so your tab strip stays clean and readable.

Automatic Tab Grouping
Create custom rules to automatically sort tabs into named, colored groups based on domain, subdomain, wildcard (*), or URL path. New tabs are grouped instantly as you browse.
Smart Auto-Minimizing
Inactive tab groups automatically collapse after a set timeout (default: 30 seconds). Groups containing your active tab always stay open so your current work is never interrupted.
Per-Group Customization
Set individual collapse timeouts for each group, or disable auto-collapsing entirely for groups you want to keep open permanently (such as Work, Docs, or Dashboard).
One-Click Pause
Working across several tab groups at once? Pause auto-collapsing anytime from the popup or with a keyboard shortcut (Alt+Shift+P on Windows/Linux, Ctrl+Shift+P on macOS).
Catch-All Fallback Group
Choose what happens to tabs that don't match any specific rule: leave them ungrouped or route them into a customizable fallback group. You can reorder the fallback group anywhere in your tab strip.
Clean Tab Strip Ordering
Choose between manual ordering (drag and drop your rules in settings to define group order) or alphabetical ordering. Newly created groups are placed into position immediately instead of sticking to the end.
Respects Manual Overrides
If you manually drag a tab to a different group, Tabbi respects your move and won't reassign it until you navigate to a new URL.
