Download YouTube videos without leaving the player.

Hover over any video and a download button appears in the top right corner —
it shows and hides together with YouTube's own controls. Prefer the right
click? A "Download video" item is added to the player's context menu too.

Pick exactly what you need.

One click opens an "Available Formats" panel styled like YouTube's own
menus:

• every available quality — 2160p, 1440p, 1080p60, 720p and more — with an
  estimated file size next to each;
• the quality you are currently watching is highlighted;
• an "Audio Only (M4A)" option that saves just the soundtrack — instantly
  and without re-encoding.

High quality without compromises.

YouTube serves qualities above 720p as separate video and audio tracks.
The extension downloads both and merges them locally with ffmpeg.wasm
(stream copy, no re-encoding, no quality loss). Long videos merge in
seconds. Files are named after the video: "Video Title [1080p60].mp4".

Private by design.

• No third-party websites, servers or APIs — the extension talks only to
  YouTube itself.
• No analytics, no tracking, no data collection of any kind.
• Works entirely inside your browser.

Good to know

• Keep the tab open while a high-quality download is being fetched and
  merged; a progress toast on the player shows the status.
• Live streams and DRM-protected videos are not supported.
• Please download only content you have the right to save. Downloading may
  violate YouTube's Terms of Service in your country — use responsibly, at
  your own discretion.
