Prism is a free, open-source download manager for Windows, macOS and Linux. This extension connects Chrome to the Prism app, so your downloads, videos and links go straight to Prism.

WHAT IT DOES
• Click any download link — Prism takes over in about a quarter of a second, with up to 32 connections per file. On servers that limit each connection that's up to 15× faster.
• Download videos: hover a video and press Download. Pick MP4 in the quality you want (up to 8K/HDR) or just the MP3 — YouTube and 1,800+ other sites.
• Right-click any link, image, video or the page → Download with Prism, or grab all links on a page.
• Never start over: pause, close the laptop, lose power — Prism resumes exactly where it stopped and verifies every file.
• Downloads that need your login keep working, because Prism receives the site's cookies for that download.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
The extension talks only to the Prism app on your own computer, through Chrome's native messaging. It sends the download's address, the page it came from, the browser's user agent and that site's cookies to the app — nothing goes to any server, there are no accounts and no analytics.
