Amazon sorts by price, not by price per unit. PriceCrow fixes that.
Search Amazon as usual. When the PriceCrow icon shows a small lime dot, click it and choose Compare: PriceCrow opens your search on pricecrow.com with every brand and size priced in one unit and ranked cheapest first.
WHAT YOU GET
• Every listing in your search priced per ounce, pound, count, fluid ounce, sheet or another unit you choose. Auto picks the unit for you.
• Toilet paper and paper towels compared by the sheet, not by "mega" or "family" rolls.
• Amazon's own unit-price label checked against the size printed on the package. Labels are entered by sellers and rounded to the cent; when they disagree, PriceCrow uses the package size or leaves the listing out instead of guessing.
• Fluid ounces are never compared with ounces of weight.
• Every price shows when it was checked.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Pin PriceCrow to your toolbar.
2. Search Amazon. On a search page the icon shows a lime dot.
3. Click the icon, then Compare on PriceCrow.
On a product page, PriceCrow suggests a search from the product's name, which you can edit.
FREE, NO ACCOUNT
PriceCrow is free and needs no sign-up. The extension only reads the address of amazon.com tabs to fill in your search. It does not read or change Amazon pages, and it collects no personal data.
