Old Reddit Switch EN

Important: Due to Reddit updates, login is now required to access the old layout :-(

Feature disguised as a bug: Opening specific paths (like your notifications, video players, etc) while the Old Reddit Switch is ON can cause 404/errors (and sometimes a "banned" subreddit page). Right now, the trick is to turn OFF the Old Reddit Switch before clicking to the path (which means you'll also go to the new layout to see that page :/)

Note: The toggle only redirects from new Reddit to old Reddit. Turning it off while on old.reddit will not return you to new Reddit, and links clicked in old.reddit will continue opening there.

To go back to the new interface: simply replace old.reddit.com with www.reddit.com in the URL and press Enter.

(Alternatively, you can remove old. entirely; both will take you back to the new Reddit interface.)

Heads up:

• The toggle only redirects from new Reddit → old Reddit.
• Turning the switch off while on old.reddit will not return you to new Reddit, and all links you click on old.reddit will continue to open in the old layout.
• If you want to go back to the new Reddit interface, you need to navigate manually to reddit.com.

Tip: If something doesn’t work as expected, you can temporarily turn it off, then switch it back on anytime.
