toolbar popup or by right-clicking the tab. The name sticks even when the page
tries to change its own title, and survives reloads.

- Click the toolbar button, type a name, hit Rename.
- Or right-click a tab → "Rename tab…".
- The custom name holds even when a page rewrites its own title (chat apps,
unread counters, single-page apps) and survives reloads and in-page
navigation. - Revert restores the page's real, current title. "Revert tab name" only appears
in the tab menu when that tab actually has a custom name. - Custom names last for the browser session and are cleared when you close the
tab. Nothing is ever sent off your device.
