ChatGPT Markdown Export helps you preserve and reuse your conversations.
• Export a single conversation, your most recent conversations, or a searchable and filterable selection.
• Choose Markdown, HTML, both formats, or a JEX notebook for Joplin. History exports include one note per conversation.
• Include available images, attachments, generated files, sources, and metadata.
• Track export progress and review the error log.
• Deletion is optional. You can export a backup, then confirm deletion separately. Deletion is irreversible.
The extension requires an active ChatGPT session. Exports and settings are processed locally; no data is sent to the developer’s server. Downloading media hosted outside ChatGPT requires optional permission. Some data may depend on ChatGPT’s internal APIs and may not be available.
