Add a whole domain like "example.com" to block it everywhere (every subdomain and page), or a specific address like "example.com/feed" to block just one part of a site. Blocking is silent and instant: the page simply never loads, with no redirect, flicker, or slowdown.

THE SMALLEST POSSIBLE FOOTPRINT

URL Blocker is built on Chrome's native rules engine, so matching happens inside the browser for effectively zero performance impact. It asks for only two permissions — the ability to block your listed addresses, and local storage for your list. It requests NO access to the content of the pages you browse. A "tabs" permission is requested only if you choose to enable automatic closing of blocked pop-up tabs, and can be revoked at any time.
