Speed Dial Dashboard replaces the Microsoft Edge New Tab page with a customizable speed-dial dashboard for organizing and quickly opening your chosen websites.

Create, edit, delete, and rearrange shortcut tiles using simple drag-and-drop controls. Each shortcut can include a custom name, website address, and icon. The extension can automatically generate a name from the website URL and retrieve its favicon when no custom icon is provided. You can also paste an icon URL, upload your own PNG or image file, or quickly add popular services from the Common Websites collection.

Personalize the dashboard through flexible layout controls. Adjust the number of columns, spacing between tiles, total dashboard width, and individual tile width. Tiles can be displayed as squares or wider rectangles. Additional options let you enable a compact layout, center the dashboard horizontally or vertically, and show or hide the Add button and drag-and-drop instructions.

Choose between system, light, and dark themes. Add a custom background by uploading an image, entering an image URL, or searching Open Access artwork from The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the National Gallery of Art simultaneously. Background controls include color, size, position, repetition, and opacity.

A convenient right-click menu provides quick access to adding shortcuts, editing mode, appearance settings, and theme controls.

Your shortcuts and preferences are stored locally on your device. Export your configuration as a complete JSON backup or as a standard bookmarks HTML file. Import files by merging them with existing shortcuts or replacing the current collection. Optional Google Drive integration can privately back up and restore your shortcuts, layout, theme, and background settings.

Speed Dial Dashboard is free to use, contains no advertisements, and includes an optional donation page for users who wish to support its continued development.
