Punycode Notice is a Microsoft Edge extension that warns you when a website's address contains a Punycode domain, the "xn--" form used for internationalized domain names.
The toolbar icon shows a yellow warning triangle on such sites and a green check otherwise. Click the icon to view the full address and copy it to the clipboard. Pin the extension once from the extensions menu to keep it visible.
There are no banners, redirects, accounts, or settings. The extension uses only the tabs permission and works entirely on your device; it collects nothing and sends nothing anywhere.
Note: many legitimate websites use Punycode domains. A yellow icon does not mean a site is dangerous, and a green one does not mean it is safe.
