PDF Compare EN

PDF Compare helps engineering and design teams review PDF drawing revisions directly in Microsoft Edge. Pick two PDFs (Rev A and Rev B) or use Compare With on an open PDF to attach the current file as Rev B, then run a structured comparison in your browser.

What you can do:
• Compare two PDF drawings with a clear diff view and optional side-by-side layout with synced pan and zoom
• See title block / metadata differences and revision-related changes on each page
• Highlight visual differences with revision-style clouds (when revisions differ)
• Navigate multi-page drawings with page controls and a summary of changes
• Export the current comparison view as a PNG image for reports or email
• Copy Inventor .idw file references from an open PDF (Copy IDW) when embedded in the document

Built for local files and the Edge PDF viewer:
• PDFs are processed on your device; drawing content is not uploaded for compare
• Works with PDFs you open from disk (enable “Allow access to file URLs” for the extension when using local files)

Optional registration:
• A limited number of free uses apply to Export PNG and Copy IDW combined; you can register with your email on the device to continue using those features. Compare and view remain available if telemetry is unreachable.

Open the extension popup to launch the compare page, or use the toolbar on PDF tabs for Compare With and Copy IDW.
