News. is a free, local-first reader for RSS, Atom, RDF and JSON Feed. Read in the browser side panel or open the same workspace in a full-page tab.

FOLLOW WHAT MATTERS
- Add feeds by URL, discover feeds advertised by the current page, or import an OPML collection.
- Organize sources and articles with folders, tags, saved Smart Views and configurable rules.
- Search your library, star important stories and manage read or archived items.
- Monitor bounded static text changes on public web pages with explicitly configured Web watches.

MAKE SPACE TO READ
- Read sanitized feed text alongside your article list.
- Optionally retrieve a publisher's full article with the website access you choose; unavailable text is not guaranteed.
- Add local Markdown notes and text highlights, then export annotated articles.
- Customize typography, reading layouts and light, dark, black or system themes.
- Use explicit More like this and Less like this feedback for explainable relevance calculated locally.

LOCAL BY DESIGN
Feeds, articles, watch snapshots, annotations, preferences and reading history are stored in IndexedDB in your current browser profile. Export OPML or a full JSON backup when you want to move or protect your data. News. does not provide cloud synchronization.

There is no paid tier, required account, advertising or developer analytics. Website access and native notifications are optional. Feed and page retrieval contact the websites you select; publisher retrieval and remote media follow your explicit choices and permissions. All executable extension code is included in the package.

Requires Microsoft Edge 142 or later. Please review the product-specific privacy policy and protect exported backups, which can contain your reading library and notes.
