Luna brings a customizable dark theme to websites in Microsoft Edge. Adjust website colors with simple controls and see changes immediately, without reloading the page.

HOW TO USE

Open a supported website and click the Luna toolbar icon. Use the main switch to control dark mode globally, or the switch next to the website address to control that website. Choose the adjustment scope, select a palette, and move the sliders to customize the appearance. Manage excluded websites in the Blacklist tab.

PRIVACY

Luna does not require an account and includes no advertising or analytics. Settings and selected domain names are stored locally. Page content and URLs are processed on your device to apply website-specific colors; browsing history and page content are not sent to the developer.

When needed for color analysis, Luna retrieves CSS and image resources directly from servers referenced by the website. These servers may receive your IP address and the requested resource URL. Background resource requests omit cookies.

COMPATIBILITY

Luna supports permitted HTTP and HTTPS websites. Browser-internal pages, extension store pages, local files, and the built-in PDF viewer are not supported. Some images, canvas content, embedded content, or unusual website designs may not convert perfectly. Use the exclusion list when you prefer a website's original appearance.

Disable other dark mode extensions while using Luna to avoid conflicting color changes.

Luna uses the MIT-licensed Dark Reader library for dynamic color conversion. Luna is an independent project and is not an official Dark Reader release.
