Broken links cost you visitors, sales and search rankings, and nobody tells you when a page you link to disappears. Linkmend checks every link on the page you are on, or across your whole site, and shows what is broken, what redirects and where, and which #anchors point nowhere. The checks run in your browser: your links are never sent to us.

📋 How It Works

1. Open any page and click the Linkmend button (or press Alt+Shift+L). The side panel opens.
2. Click Check this page. The first time, your browser asks to let Linkmend reach websites, because checking a link means requesting it.
3. See the results: broken links get a red outline on the page, and the panel lists every problem with its status code and reason.

Example: before you publish a blog post, one click shows the two sources that moved and the one that now returns 404.

🔒 Privacy: Linkmend reads the links of a tab only when you ask it to check that tab. It requests the links straight from your browser; the addresses and results stay in the side panel and in files you export, and are never sent to us. Links on the same site are requested with your cookies so pages behind your login work; other sites get no cookies, and links like "log out" are always requested without them. Linkmend sends anonymous usage events (like "a page was checked", never URLs or page content) to our server, and you can turn them off in Settings. Nothing is sold, and Linkmend has never been sold.
