LinkCheck is a free, open source browser extension that scans any webpage for broken and redirected links. One click to audit your site, your team's docs, or any page on the web.
What it does:
- Scans every link on the active tab
- Flags broken (404, 500, etc.) and redirected (301, 302) links in real time
- Highlights issues directly on the page with hover tooltips showing status codes
- Streams results as they're found — no waiting for the full scan
- Exports results as Markdown or JSON, ready to paste into a pull request or issue
