Link2Video helps you save supported public video links to your Windows computer.
IMPORTANT: Windows only. A separate, free Link2Video Windows Helper must be installed once on each computer. The browser extension cannot download videos by itself.
HELPER DOWNLOAD AND SETUP

1. Open the link above and download Link2Video-Windows-Helper-1.0.4.zip under Assets.
2. Right-click the ZIP, select Extract All, and open the extracted folder.
3. Run SETUP.cmd and wait until “Setup complete” appears. Internet access is required to install dependencies.
4. Open Link2Video in Edge and click “Check connection” (“Reconnect helper” in older versions).
5. Paste a specific public video link, choose your format and quality, and download.
The helper automatically connects to the Microsoft Edge Store extension. No developer mode or manual extension ID entry is required.
FEATURES
• Enter a video link or prefill it from the current tab.
• Save video or extract MP3 audio at 192 kbps.
• Choose a preferred resolution of 720p or 1080p.
• View download progress and cancel an active download.
• Open your local download folder.
• Follow built-in helper setup instructions when the helper is not connected.
The helper supports links from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and Facebook, subject to platform availability and restrictions. Available source quality is used when the preferred resolution is unavailable.
Downloads run on your computer without a Link2Video cloud server. The extension does not read browser cookies.
Save only content you own or have permission to download. Private, protected or platform-blocked content may be unavailable. Keep the download tab open until the download finishes.
