## Overview

This browser extension replaces the browser’s built-in download manager, allowing you to download videos, audio, images, and other file types based on custom rules. It is also ideal for collecting web content in bulk for everyday work.

## Key Features

1. **Download Manager Integration:** Supports the FileCXX desktop downloader by default. You can also add other download tools or custom backends in Settings. Switch back to the browser’s built-in download manager at any time with a single click in the Popup.

2. **Multiple File Types:** Download videos, audio, images, and other files that match your custom rules.

3. **Batch Downloads and Media Preview:** Batch-download videos, audio, and images, with media previews available before downloading.

## Usage Notes

Downloading streaming formats such as M3U8 and MPD requires a companion desktop application to download and assemble the media into a complete video file. Without a compatible desktop downloader, the extension can only download the raw metadata files, such as playlists or media manifests, rather than the actual video content.

## Important Notice

This extension does not support downloading YouTube videos.
