Font Tuner gives you precise, mixer-style control over how any web page reads.

• Independent CN/EN font settings
Pick separate Chinese and Western typefaces. The extension automatically
builds a proper font stack so each script falls back to the right font.

• Proportional font-size scaling
Scale every page's text size from 50% to 200% in 1% steps, anchored to
the page's original size so it never compounds on dynamic pages.

• Installed-font detection
The Chinese dropdown only lists typefaces actually installed on your
machine. No more picking a font that silently does nothing.

• Visual optimizations
– Rendering smoothing / anti-aliasing (macOS text-smoothing and a Windows
text-rendering + text-shadow fallback for builds where the WebKit
property is no longer honored)
– Readability tweaks: line-height, letter-spacing, font-weight
– Smart font replacement (auto-pick better Chinese fallbacks when a page
ships a low-quality font)

• True cross-frame coverage
Works inside elements and Shadow DOM, so it covers modern web
apps, project-management dashboards, and embedded portals — not just
the top frame.

• Icon-font safe
Elements that look like icon glyphs (icon class names, PUA codepoints,
inline SVG) are detected and skipped, so the UI never turns into boxes
after you turn the extension on.

• Global & live
Settings sync via chrome.storage.sync and re-apply on every navigation
without reloading the tab. A single on/off toggle lets you disable the
extension entirely when you need the original look back.

Nothing leaves your browser. The extension collects no data, makes no
network requests, and ships no remote code.
