Focus Mode for YouTube Music EN

Turn YouTube Music into a distraction-free, full-screen player. Big cover art, time-synced lyrics and simple controls — perfect on a second screen while you work, study or relax.

Focus Mode for YouTube Music adds a focus button to the YouTube Music player bar. One click (or Alt+Shift+F) hides everything else and shows only what is playing.

FOCUS MODE
• Large album cover over a soft, blurred backdrop made from the cover itself
• Accent color taken from the album cover, with guaranteed readable contrast
• Music/Video switch to watch the music video in place of the cover
• Audio visualizer, seekable progress bar, volume, like and share (copies the song link)
• "Up next" card and the full queue, plus a clickable artist name
• Fluid layout, from small laptops to ultrawide monitors
• Remembers whether you left lyrics and video on

SYNCED LYRICS
• Lyrics that follow the song line by line
• Click any line to jump to that part of the song
• Plain lyrics when synced ones are not available

KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS
• Alt+Shift+F: open/close focus mode (can be changed in the browser)
• Space: play/pause · Esc: exit
• Left/Right arrows: back/forward 10 seconds · Up/Down arrows: volume, with an on-screen indicator

LISTENING SESSIONS
Opening a YouTube Music link no longer wipes out what you are listening to. When a link arrives while music is playing, choose to play it next, open it in a new session, replace the current one, or cancel. Each session has its own window, queue and position, and a sessions menu lets you switch between them. Optionally, the last session reopens (paused) when the browser starts.

OPTIONS
Open focus mode automatically when music starts, keep the side menu collapsed, tint YouTube Music with the cover color, and reopen the last session when the browser starts. Each one can be turned on or off.

PRIVACY
No account, no ads, no tracking. The extension only runs on music.youtube.com, and your settings stay in your browser. Lyrics come from the public LRCLIB database: only the song title, artist and duration are sent, and only while the lyrics panel is open.
