简介
Fasto Download Manager integrates Microsoft Edge with the locally installed Fasto desktop application for Windows and Linux.
The extension can hand browser-created HTTP and HTTPS downloads to Fasto, add a “Download with Fasto” option to link context menus, detect supported video and media resources, and display Fasto download controls on webpages.
When a download is selected, its URL and required non-sensitive metadata are sent securely to the Fasto desktop application through native messaging. Processing takes place locally on the user’s device.
Fasto does not use remote code, advertising, or analytics. It does not collect passwords, cookies, payment information, personal communications, or Authorization headers.
The Fasto desktop application and native messaging host must be installed for browser download handoff to work.
