Cookie banners are annoying. Every site asks the same thing, every click costs a moment, and the big convenient button almost always says "Accept all". CookieHater handles it in the background — and it goes the other way.

Most banner tools just click whatever makes the box go away. CookieHater does the opposite: where it can, it clicks "Reject all" or "Only necessary" for you. Where it can't, it simply hides the banner. It never blindly clicks "Accept all" just to make the noise stop.

HOW IT WORKS

CookieHater uses four layers that work together — all of them local to your browser, none of them running through a server:

• Known banners are hidden with CSS the instant the page starts loading. No flash, no flicker.
• Known consent and tracking scripts are blocked before they load, using a fixed rule list bundled inside the extension.
• When CookieHater detects a known consent platform, it calls that platform's own official opt-out interface. That way a proper "reject" is actually recorded.
• Alongside that, a heuristic clicker finds the real "Reject" button by its visible text — in German and 15+ other EU languages. Strict context checks make sure it only hits the right button, never footer links or unrelated controls.

HONESTLY

CookieHater rejects instead of accepting — that's the whole point. It takes the banners off your hands, but it does not accept tracking to slip past "pay-or-consent" walls. It rejects — no more than that, and no less.

CookieHater runs in Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Nothing it does is hidden: everything ships inside the package — no code loaded later, no surprises. The only thing it can fetch is an optional, off-by-default update to its list of banner selectors — plain text, no code, stored locally.
