Chauffeur - Save & Restore Edge Tabs EN

This extension serves a single purpose: it lets the locally-installed Chauffeur application (Windows) capture and restore the user's Microsoft Edge windows and tabs.

When the user saves their working context in the Chauffeur app, the extension reads the URLs, titles and layout of all open Edge windows and tabs and sends them to the Chauffeur app running locally on the same machine (127.0.0.1 / localhost). When the user restores a saved context, the extension recreates those windows and tabs exactly as they were.

This is the Edge half of Chauffeur's "save and restore your whole desktop working state" feature. The extension communicates only with the local Chauffeur app — no data is ever sent to any remote server, and it does nothing on its own without the app installed.
