Braille Link Keyboard is an accessibility extension that helps approved Braille Link users type into web text fields using Perkins-style braille input on a standard physical keyboard.

The extension maps the keys F, D, S, J, K, and L to braille dots 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6. This allows a user to enter braille characters through keyboard chords instead of using ordinary letter-by-letter typing.

Braille Link Keyboard supports braille typing in supported web text boxes, text areas, and compatible editable fields. It also provides speech feedback to help users confirm typed characters, deleted characters, Enter/new-line actions, and navigation feedback while typing.

The extension is designed to work with Braille Link access. Users must have an active Braille Link account or entitlement before braille input is enabled. The extension communicates with Braille Link servers to verify access status, while the typing experience is handled locally in the browser.
