Accent Letters puts 682 accented Latin characters from 55 languages in your toolbar. Click one and it is copied, ready to paste anywhere.
Finding the right letter is the point:
• Type the letter itself, or a plain one — "e" finds é è ê ë ē ĕ ė ę ě
• Type its name — "e acute", "o slash", "c cedilla"
• Describe the accent in plain words — "two dots" finds every diaeresis, "hat" finds all 50 circumflexes and carons
• Filter by language — Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, Vietnamese, Turkish
Every letter also shows its Unicode code point, HTML entity and Windows Alt code, so you can check you have the right character and not a lookalike.
The letter data is generated from the Unicode Character Database and CLDR rather than typed by hand, and it is the same data behind accentletters.wiki.
Free, no account, no ads. It works offline and makes no network requests at all — the whole letter set ships inside the extension, and nothing you type or copy is sent anywhere.
